This instrument, when finally installed, will be the largest active telescope in the state
of New Jersey. It is expected to take 3-5 years to complete the
observatory construction and installation.

These funds are being applied to the purchase of a good set of TeleVue eyepieces, filters, a
spectroscope and related equipment for the 16-inch Newtonian telescope in the
Greenwood Observatory. The equipment will be used for observational applications
and public program use.

The Montclair Telescope Club

Donation of the Kimble-Kennedy 16-inch Newtonian-Cassegrain Telescope

This instrument, built by the Montclair Telescope Club, won awards at the
Stellafane telescope making convention in Springfield, Vermont. It will
be installed in the UACNJ research observatory.

Rockland Astronomy Club

$500 donation to the UACNJ for a non-technical use that benefits the observers'
creature comforts.

These funds will be used towards new bunk beds for the observatory.

These funds were used to purchase a CCD imaging camera along with filters and
related equipment for use on the telescopes for electronic astronomical imaging
and for photometric applications.

This allowed the UACNJ to quickly clear and level the ground in preparation for the
five observatory site where there will be three club observatories, a solar
